Family Pictures virus

CATEGORY: Hoax virus alerts

A hoax virus alert created as a direct rip-off of the PrettyPark virus alert chain letter. The hoaxster merely changed "PrettyPark" to "Family Pictures."

Like PrettyPark, it claims Intel issued the alert, and it urges people to "forward this to everyone in your address book. I would rather receive this 25 times than not at all."

Two variations of this hoax already exist. One calls it the "New Family Pictures" virus; another calls it the "New Pictures of Family" virus.
