WHAT'S IN A name? Network Associates Corp. of San Francisco filed a lawsuit against McAfeeNetwork Associates Inc. of San Francisco for confusing the market with a similar name. Network Associates of Provo, Utah (Symantec's public relations arm) hasn't yet taken a side in this battle. Note to Bill Larson: follow Sun's lead and have fun with April Fool's Day. Change the website so it says 'Associates Network' for a few hours.
And speaking of lawsuits, Symantec finally removed a prominent link on their default page where you could read an incredibly one-sided story about the lawsuit against Network Associates.
