They are waiting for the outcome of this media hype, if nothing ensues, they claim victory for selling such great protection. If significant damage occurs, they claim a dire need for computer users to buy their antivirus products to prevent future devestation to our most delicate data. It's the "save or create" scenario, they win either way. My only question, how did conficker get in the news in the first place? It apparently does nothing as of the latest "reports". It seems to only have "changed" to do something on 1 April. The best practical joke? The one that never happens.
